Summary
In short
You can delete your FliponeX account and the personal data tied to it by emailing us. We do not sell your data. Once your request is verified, your account is permanently deactivated and sensitive data is purged on the timeline below. A small amount of financial-transaction data may be retained in anonymised form for the statutory window required by Indian tax and accounting law.
The process
1. How to request
The FliponeX app does not currently include an in-app "Delete my account" button. To request deletion, send an email from your registered email address to:
Include:
- Your full name
- The mobile number registered with your account
- The email address on the account (if any)
- Subject line: "Delete my account"

What happens when
2. Deletion timeline
- Within 24 hours — we acknowledge your email and start verifying your identity (we may reply asking for a recent booking ID to confirm).
- Within 7 days — your profile, contact details, and uploaded documents are removed from our active systems and you can no longer log in.
- Within 30 days — booking history, chat transcripts, and ratings are permanently purged from our live databases.
- Up to 7 years — anonymised financial-transaction records may be retained per Indian tax and accounting law. These records cannot be linked back to identify you.

3. What gets deleted
The following data is permanently removed:
- Account credentials (name, mobile number, email, password hash).
- Documents you uploaded (Aadhaar, PAN, address proof, photographs, and any other supporting files).
- Booking history and service-status records.
- Representative visit logs and on-site notes tied to your bookings.
- Chat transcripts with our support team and representatives.
- Ratings and feedback you submitted.
- Saved preferences (language, default service address).
- Device push-notification tokens.
Exceptions
4. What may be retained
Certain financial-transaction records may be retained in anonymised form for the statutory window required by Indian tax, accounting, and anti-fraud law (typically up to 7 years). These records contain only:
- The transaction amount, date, and gateway reference ID.
- The service category booked (no document details).
They no longer contain your name, mobile, email, or any identifier that can link them back to you. We retain them only to meet legal obligations — never to re-contact you or re-market.
Outside FliponeX
5. Third parties
FliponeX uses an online payment gateway to process payments. We do not store your card or UPI credentials — those are held by the payment gateway under their own privacy policy. Submitting a deletion request to us does not automatically delete records the gateway must retain by law.
Government portals (UIDAI for Aadhaar, NSDL for PAN, state welfare departments, etc.) where we filed your applications operate under their own retention rules. We have no control over data held by those portals.
